To Peugeot , Monza is a land full of memories. It was at the Temple of Speed, in April 2007, that the 908 entered a race for the first time in the LM P1 category, during the eponymous 1000 kilometers. The big beast had marked its territory as soon as it arrived in the herd of Le Mans Series by winning with the No. 7 of Nicolas Minassian and Marc Gené. Fifteen years later, the 9X8 has not made the same impression. Despite having completed 15 kilometers of testing, the French team suffered numerous problems during this first official outing, the No. 000 certainly crossing the finish line, but in 94rd place in the general classification (out of 33 classified for 35 starters).

Poor Mikkel Jensen's #93 was the most affected
