The Automobile Club de l'Ouest has confirmed the first invitations for the 2021 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The first invitations for the 24 2021 Hours of Le Mans

Following the end of the 2020 season in the European Le Mans Series and the Michelin Le Mans Cup, with the confirmation of the last titles at stake, the Automobile Club de l'Ouest was able to confirm the first invitations for the next edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, which will take place on June 12 and 13.

In addition to its victory in LM P2 last September, United Autosports is the big winner of the 2020 season, with a second invitation to LM P2 thanks to its crown ELMS 2020.

TF Sport: victory at the 24 2020 Hours of Le Mans in LMGTE Am (invitation to assert in the LMGTE Am category)
United Autosports: 2020 ELMS champion team in LMP2 (invitation to compete in LMP2 category)
Proton Competition: 2020 ELMS champion team in LMGTE (invitation to compete in LMGTE Am category)
Kessel Racing: 2020 ELMS vice-champion team in LMGTE (invitation to assert in LMGTE Am category)
Iron Lynx: victory in the GT3 category of the Michelin Le Mans Cup (invitation to claim in the LMGTE Am category)

THEIMSA will offer two invitations for the winners of the Jim Trueman Award and Bob Akin Award trophies, not counting the invitations from the Asian Le Mans Series, which will be made based in particular on the number of cars in the different categories.
