Compared to the best theoretical lap achievable on the Chinese circuit, the two Toyota LM P1s, tied on points in the championship standings, will be slowed by 2″74 per lap.
A loss of performance made possible with a reduction in the energy available via the ERS (2,75 MJ/lap against 3,02 MJ/lap for the most penalized of the TS050s at Fuji), while the two Japanese LM P1s will be able to count on a fuel flow reduced to 74 kg/h. The fuel flange is set at 19,60mm, compared to 19,95mm in the most penalized Toyota at Fuji.
For the non-hybrid LM P1s, the Rebellion R13 will be weighed down to 862 kg to be braked by 0”89 per lap when the #60 Ginetta G1-LT-P5 will lose six kilos to theoretically lose 0”65. Only the Ginetta n°6 will not be penalized in terms of total mass.
Finally, note in GTE Pro that theAston Martin Vantage will lose one liter of tank capacity in China.
