Level 5 Motorsports entered at the 24 Hours of Le Mans

Level 5 Motorsports dominated the LM P2 category of the American Le Mans Series this year with its HPD ARX-03b, notably claiming victory in LMP2 (ALMS) at the 12 Hours of Sebring and at Petit Le Mans. Team owner Scott Tucker was able to win the Drivers and Teams title alongside Frenchman Christophe Bouchut. The leaders of the ALMS rewarded the American team by offering it one of three invitations for the next edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans that the ACO had made available to them. A challenge that the team will take on for the third time in a row. “We are honored to have our past achievements recognized by the ALMS and ACO and to once again be offered a place at the 24 Hours of Le Mans., commented the boss-pilot. After taking third place in 2011, we are very keen to get back on the podium, hoping to finish on the top step next year. »

Scott Tucker is especially impatient to experience the joys of success in Sarthe, where the HPD ARX-03b had lacked success last year since the Tucker-Bouchut-Diaz crew had abandoned. The American team nevertheless intends to enter the same prototype after the success achieved this season in the ALMS. “We realize the importance of this race and the level of preparation it requires to achieve success and we plan to come back even stronger next year”, continues David Stone, Team Manager of Level 5 Motorsports. “Competing in LMP2 has progressed, particularly in Europe, but we are ready to take on the challenge and hope to carry the American flag proudly. »
