Lola prepares the B12/80 LMP2 for 2012

Lola has unveiled its new LMP2 prototype project which will be effective from next year. The B12/80 Coupe will replace the Lola Coupe currently used by Level 5 Motorsports in ILMC. It will be recognizable by its closed roof.

Martin Birrane, executive director of the British manufacturer, explains that the relative stability of the regulations favored the creation of the new prototype. “Prototype racing was more successful during the stability period. It?s very reassuring to have regulations that should remain stable over a period of five years in LMP2. »

Robin Brundle, director of the prototype manufacturer, is confident in the reliability and performance of the future B10/80. ?This project is proof of Lola?s involvement in the future of this category. Our engineers have worked hard to finalize the aerodynamic packages for the B10/80. We invite our customers to come and discover the most competitive and reliable prototype for next year?s endurance races. »
