Alexandre Prémat took the No. 03 Oreca 48-Nissan to the lead in the LMP2 category. The #48, now in the hands of Dominik Kraihamer, now has a lap lead over the #41 Zytek Nissan of Greaves Motorsport.
“Everything went really well,” confides Alexandre as he gets out of the tub. “The Honda/Strakka misfired a bit at the start and I was able to take second position. Once in the lead, I didn't worry about the gaps. I didn't try to attack too much: I kept a safety margin and followed my own pace. »
The Frenchman, who shares the wheel with Dominik Kraihamer and David Hallyday, adds that the behavior of the Oreca team prototype is very satisfactory. “The car is excellent, very pleasant to drive. Four hours on the track is tiring, but physically it's going very well! »
