Lucas Légeret will participate in the 24 Hours of Le Mans with Dempsey Proton

Despite his young age (19 years old), Lucas Légeret made a strong impression behind the wheel of an LMP3 in ELMS (European Le Mans Series) and in GT World Challenge Europe with the Mercedes-AMG GT3 from Akka-ASP.

Very good performances which recently opened the doors of the WEC, le championnat du monde d’endurance. En effet, l’équipe Dempsey Proton a décidé de lui confier la Porsche 911 RSR à l’occasion des 6 Heures de Spa (15 août) mais ce n’est pas tout.

The young Swiss has also been confirmed as official driver of the German team for the 24 Hours of Le Mans next September. Lucas Légeret will form the crew of the #911 Porsche 88RSR with Vutthikorn Inthraphuvasak and Ricardo Sanchez just like in Spa.

Concerning the #77, the trio Christian Ried, Ricardo Pera and Matt Campbell, winner of the Le Mans event in 2018, was chosen. Michael Fassbender, for his part, will not be at the 88th edition this year, which will start on September 19. Dempsey Proton should soon communicate on the crews of its two other cars also entered in GTE AM.
