Makowiecki and Estre with Porsche in GTE Pro

Porsche a confirmé ses équipages pour la saison 2017 du WEC in the GTE Pro category. After announcing the presence of Richard Lietz on the No. 911 91 RSR and Michael Christensen on the No. 92, the Stuttgart manufacturer confirmed the reinforcement of the French Frédéric Makowiecki and Kévin Estre to complete the crews.

After having defended the interests of Porsche in IMSA, Frédéric Makowiecki will return to play at the world level ofEndurance by playing with the Austrian who won the category in 2015. The 2013 champion of the German Porsche Carrera Cup will play with the 26-year-old Dane.

Porsche will have to do better than last year in the GTE Pro category since the German brand finished last of the four manufacturers entered.

The WEC Prologue will take place on April 1 and 2 in Monza (Italy) before the start of the season at Silverstone on the 16th of the same month.
