The German brand has confirmed some of the drivers who will drive the two new Porsche 911 RSRs in the WEC in 2017.

Makowiecki, Lietz and Christensen in GTE Pro with Porsche

Porsche reprendra son engagement officiel en catégorie GTE Pro en Championnat du Monde d’Endurance next year. Two new 911 RSRs will be entered full-time for a line-up which was partly revealed by the brand during its Night of Champions.

Michael Christensen, Frédéric Makowiecki and Richard Lietz have so far been confirmed by Porsche. Note that the German firm lists Romain Dumas, recently ousted from the LM P1 program, as official GT driver.
