Will Stevens will continue to defend the colors of Manor. After evolving in 2015 into F1, the 24-year-old Briton moves into WEC. The former Grand Prix driver will make his debut in Endurance after several seasons of car having notably seen him make his mark in the World Series by Renault. As a reminder, the first confirmed driver was the Thai Tor Graves.

“I am delighted to continue my relationships with Graeme (Lowdon) and John (Booth), he commented. I will have the opportunity to discover endurance racing, to be competitive and to race with people I enjoyed working with last year. My goal is to have several choices to evolve at the best level in my future. Gaining experience in endurance will allow me to broaden my perspectives. »

The big news comes mainly from the fact that Manor has announced the entry of a second Oreca 05 in LMP2, which brings the number of entries in WEC to 33 this season. The team will make its public debut during the WEC Prologue, March 25 and 26 at Paul-Ricard (Var).
