Maxime Martin delighted with the new BoP before the start of the 24 Hours

Friday late afternoon, the Performance Balance has been modified once again. Both Aston Martin Official Vantage in the GTE Pro category have thus benefited from a reduction of 10 kg, for a total weight reaching 1 kg.

This decision has something to motivate Max Martin, driver of the No. 97 with Alex Lynn and Johnny Adam. The crew will leave from the 16th place in GTE Pro, behind four GTE Ams. “It’s a logical decision; we were too far away to hope for anything. It’s good that sports authorities have become aware of this. This proves that they are attentive to discrepancies.

From there to say if it will be enough for the race, I don't know. I hope that will put us back in the pack so that we can fight with the peloton. Maybe not quite ahead, because it's going really fast. »
