McLaren gets closer to the 24 hours of Le Mans

McLaren could well bring a fresh wind to the plateau ofEndurance. As confirmed by executive director Zak Brown in issue 2184 of AUTOhebdo, the Woking manufacturer is seriously considering a return to 24 Hours of Le Mans in parallel with its programs in F1 and IndyCar.

“This is clearly a project that interests us, we like the direction taken. THE WEC and the 24 Hours of Le Mans offer a premier platform, whose history is linked to that of McLaren...", told Zak Brown to AUTOhebdo.

The American businessman also met Pierre Fillon (director of the ACO), Gérard Neveu (general director of the WEC) and Richard Mille (president of the FIA ​​Endurance Commission) last Monday.
