The Proton Competition crew for the team's debut in the premier category at the 6 Hours of Monza (July 9) is complete. After the recent confirmations of Gianmaria Bruni and Harry Tincknell, the German team announced the arrival of Neel Jani in its ranks for the next round of the WEC after the 24 Hours of Le Mans but also for the rest of the season.
This is the Swiss' big return to the world championship.Endurance since he has not been seen there since 2021 and the 8 Hours of Bahrain, the last event of the campaign, on a Porsche 911 RSR-19 in GTE Pro.

He is a strong recruit for Proton Competition. Neel Jani indeed has a great CV in Endurance and particularly in the premier category. A former Porsche driver, the Swiss won the 24 2016 Hours of Le Mans and the world champion title the same year.
