Nissan continues its work towards 2016

2016 should be an opportunity for Nissan to erase the failure of the past year, with a single participation in the World Championship.Endurance Asked 24 Hours of Le Mans last June, which ended in a bitter setback. Only one car out of the three lined up had seen the finish? not without having spent almost 8 hours in his box.

With the ambition of returning to a more honorable level next year, Nissan is continuing its work to develop the GT-R LM Nismo, et two days of testing with two cars in action were carried out at the start of the week on the American track at NOLA Motorsports Park in Louisiana.

Nissan notably worked on the evaluation of new Michelin tires. Official drivers Tsugio Matsuda, Jann Mardenborough and Harry Tincknell were on track, while Nelson Piquet Jr, Bruno Junqueira and Memo Rojas also came to test the Japanese LM P1 prototype.

Two copies should be committed per year in WEC, the officialization of the pilots should normally take place at the beginning of January.
