Everything is ready, or practically, for Alpine approaching the 24 Hours of Le Mans (June 15-16). Back in the premier category since the start of the season, the A arrow was entitled to its last rehearsal before setting sail for Sarthe.

The 6 Hours of Spa therefore allowed the Blues to measure themselves one last time against their competitors before the big day. A final official outing on the track that is very encouraging, both in terms of performance and the synergy of the group. After Qatar and Imola which served above all to take the temperature, Alpine has this time strengthened its game. Close to achieving a nice move at the end of the race, the Tricolores left the Ardennes with the feeling of duty accomplished despite a end of the race which did not turn out to their advantage.

Internally, we are satisfied with having correctly deployed the weekend plan with progress at the end of the day. There was certainly no big splash but the French brand showed a better face than during the first two rounds of the 2024 financial year.

« This race was in line with what we hoped for in the run-up to the 24 Hours of Le Mans, notes the main team Philippe Sinault. We are still learning, but we wanted to have a better view and understanding of our car and its operation. The objective was achieved with a good performance in testing and in the race, with our two Hypercars at the finish and battling a little more with the competition. The No. 36 was not successful with the red flag, but the results are satisfactory and our next tests will allow us to learn new lessons before approaching Le Mans. This session will see Ferdinand take the wheel again. I must salute all our pilots for being able to reprogram themselves and avoid errors after such a long interruption."

With the 24 Hours of Le Mans in his sights, Philippe Sinault was also delighted with the popular success of theEndurance at Spa where more than 88 spectators attended. Proof that the discipline is regaining color after years of discretion. “ Spa really allowed us to measure the popular fervor around this championshipHe says. Which gives even more meaning to the program Alpine in Endurance and represents an extremely powerful element of motivation."
