Olivier Jansonnie: “The development is going as planned”

We imagine that the list of suitors was long. How did you choose your drivers?

Originally we had between 40 and 50 pilots. We have analyzed most of their statistics over the last five years in all competitionsEndurance high level, namely theIMSA, WEC and l'ELMS. After mathematical analysis, we reduced the list to twelve names. Then we interviewed them all, trying to understand their motivation and their abilities to integrate into our team.

Have you decided what the driver combinations will be?

No not yet. To do this, we would need to know them more and use the first test sessions to determine which will be the most optimal associations. In particular, we need to ensure that everyone's wishes in terms of settings are consistent between the three drivers of the same car.

You revealed the powertrain of your future LMH in mid-December. What about its development?

We will be assembling our first engine in the coming weeks, in April. It's going to happen very quickly. We hope to have it benched before the end of April. Then, in September, we will receive the front part of our powertrain, namely the electric motor and the front gearbox, which we will subject to all the necessary tests. Finally, we will put everything together on our brand new four-wheel drive bench in November.
