Olivier Lombard approaches Le Mans with humility

Olivier Lombard will join Franck Mailleux and Natacha Gachnang on the Morand Racing Morgan-Judd this Sunday for the Test Day of the 24 Hours of Le Mans which could be disrupted by rain. The 22-year-old Parisian who is competing this year in the Porsche Carrera Cup France will make its third start at the Sarthe double clock. The Frenchman quickly stood out in this event by winning in 2011 in the LMP2 category at the wheel of the Greaves Motorsport Zytek Z11SN-Nissan before returning the following year in an Oreca 03-Nissan fielded by Signatech.

I am approaching my third 24 Hours in the same state of mind as in 2011. Without focusing on the result, but above all trying to finish the race. To succeed without major problems would mean that we are not far in the category. It should also be noted that the quality of the board is still increasing. Compared to 2011, there are almost twice as many entries in LM P2. »
