Onroak presents its Ligier JS P217

Onroak Automotive lifted the veil on the Ligier JS P217 in the paddock of Spa-Francorchamps (Belgium) where the fifth round of the season is taking place this weekend.ELMS.

It is the first of four future LMP2s in compliance with the 2017 regulations to be revealed, the other three manufacturers being Dallara, Oreca and Multimatic-Riley. The LMP2s will be powered by a Gibson 8l V4.2 for the WEC and the ELMS, but the prototype will also be eligible for theIMSA where Extreme Speed ​​Motorsports will enter two models.

The Ligier JS P217 made its first rounds this week on the Magny-Cours circuit (Nièvre). The development program must be finalized to make the first deliveries at the end of the year in preparation for the 24 Hours of Daytona (Florida).
