Philippe Sinault: “In working order to ride in the middle of summer”

Philippe Sinault, will the drivers selected for the 2023 season be in the running for the LMDh in 2024?

It would be a lie to say that our four Gold pilots (Caldwell, Milesi, Black, Vaxiviere. Editor's note) are not eligible for the sequel. It is the progress of the 2023 season which will tell us.

Some of them will participate in the trials with Nicolas lapierre ?

It's not defined yet, but yes, it will be. There will obviously be Nicolas, but not only that. This will be done gradually, depending on each person's program and the results in LM P2.

Where are you with the development of LMDh?

We are ready to roll in the middle of summer. It is essential to respect this agenda. The collaboration between Alpine Racing, Oreca (chassis supplier. Editor’s note) and Signatech are productive. The engine is already running on the test bench, and when we see the Acura's result at Daytona (doubled with an Oreca chassis. Editor's note), we say to ourselves that the chassis has well-born genes.
