The return of the World Endurance Championship (WEC) on the bumpy track of Sebring (Florida) is accompanied by several changes in the list of competitors. The 1 000 Miles of Sebring (March 2019-15) will see the participation of Corvette Racing in the GTE Pro category.

A Corvette C7.R will be entered for an experienced trio, made up of Jan Magnussen, Antonio Garcia and Mike Rockenfeller. The American seems to enjoy the WEC sinceshe was already on the starting grid for the 6 Hours of Shanghai (China) in fall 2018.
The GTE Pro class will be supplied with 11 cars. To overcome the clock, several teams added a third driver. AF Corse will trust Daniel serra on Ferrari 488 GTE n°51 and Miguel Molina on No. 71, whileAlexander Sims and Bruno Spengler strengthen the ranks of BMW.
Veteran Darren Turner returns to Aston Martin Racing while Ford is still evaluating candidates. Initially planned for the second Vantage, Johnny Adam returns to GTE Am on an old Aston Martin du TF Sport. Quant à Porsche, elle garde ses duos engagés à l’année (Lietz-Bruni et Christensen-Estre).
In LM P1 Non-hybrid, the drivers entered by the ByKolles Racing Team are currently unknown. Nathanaël Berthon joins Rebellion and Henrik Hedman returns to DragonSpeed. We are also counting on the transfer of Sergey Sirotkin at SMP Racing replacing Matevos Isaakyan.
There are more changes in LM P2, particularly on the Jackie Chan DC Racing side. On the Oreca 07-Gibson n°37, Malaysians Jazeman Jaafar, Weiron Tan and Nabil Jeffri are ejected for the benefit of Jordan King, David Heinemeier-Hansson and Will Stevens.
