Porsche wants to continue at Spa

Dominant at the opening of the season in the United States, Porsche arrives in Belgium with full confidence. Especially since the Germans have won the last three editions of the 6 Hours of Spa. The goal this weekend is simple: continue this series.

At the wheel of the No. 92, Kevin Estre and Michael Christensen are the favorites in the Ardennes. The pair is looking forward to this meeting. “ Winning again is clearly our goal, warns the Dane. If we can do this we will be in a good position for the championship. » His French teammate also arrives with a lot of confidence. “ This track is a unique challenge, deciphers Kevin Estre. Last year we had a perfect weekend with pole and victory. The car was very pleasant to drive, there is no reason for that to change this season. »

3rd at Sebring, Richard Lietz and Gianmaria Bruni also showed good things. The crew of the No. 91 is looking forward to discovering the changes made on the Belgian track. “ They added gravel traps and I'm curious to see what that changes in the way we approach certain turns, admits the Austrian. I just hope that the characteristics that make this circuit legendary are still the same. » More than the modifications made this winter, his Italian teammate also mentions an atypical point of Spa: the weather. “ In previous years we have had it all: sun, rain and even snow. The weather in the Ardennes is always a surprise. ».

First elements of response this Thursday from 15:30 p.m. during the first free practices.
