Prémat: “Win ​​LMP2”

He defended the Audi colors for three years in Endurance, notably winning the LMS champion crown in 2008 with Mike Rockenfeller. Last year, the managers of the Ingolstadt manufacturer asked him to concentrate solely on the championship DTM, hence his absence last June. Fired by the firm with the rings last winter, Prémat was free from any contract this year. A godsend for Hugues de Chaunac, looking for a talented and experienced driver to play the role of crew captain of his Oreca 03-Nissan during the 79th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans next June 11 and 12.

The objective is therefore clear, but far from being excessive. With David Hallyday and Dominik Kraihamer (see here), Alexandre Prémat has two teammates who are fully capable of supporting him in his quest. The performance of the No. 03 Oreca 48-Nissan will therefore be one to watch closely, starting this weekend, during the test day of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
