Project 1 returns for a new season in WEC
Never two without three. With two cars in the Top 5 (#56 3rd, #57 5th) in the GTE Am class at the end of the 2019/2020 season WEC, Team Project 1 intends to continue its commitment to endurance this year.
This Sunday, the German team confirmed that it was returning for a third season in the FIA World Endurance Championship. In 2021, Team Project 1 will continue with the same two cars.
“As in 2019/2020, we plan to hire two Porsche 911 RSR again,” explained Axel Funke, team principal of Team Project 1. The two cars should therefore be lined up in the GTE Am category. However, no announcement has been made regarding the line-up of the German team. .
