Prologue 1 – Toyota and Ferrari ahead in Barcelona

In LM P1, Toyota is leading the first tests of the 2019-20 World Endurance Championship (WEC) season in Catalonia, while the outgoing winners of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in GTE Pro are the fastest with their Ferrari.

Prologue 1 – Toyota and Ferrari ahead in Barcelona

Both Toyota TS050 Hybrid ont dominé la première matinée du Prologue, sur le circuit de Barcelone. Le meilleur chrono est à mettre au crédit de la n°7 de Conway-Lopez-Kobayashi in 1'37”000. She is 0”267 ahead of No. 8 in Buemi-Nakajima-Hartley and 1”6 and 2”1 the two Rebellion R13.

 

For its first outing in LM P2, United Autosports climbed to the top of the hierarchy with a time of 1'33"344. The Albuquerque-Hanson-Di Resta trio precedes theAlpine A470 n°36 and the 07 n°29 of Racing Team Nederland.

In GTE Pro, both Ferrari 488 mènent la danse, l’avantage allant à la n°51 de Pier Guidi-Calado en 1’44 »040. Suivent les deux nouvelles Porsche 911 RSR, alors que l’unique Aston Martin Vantage AMR brings up the rear with a delay of 1”120.

 

Reigning champion, Project 1 does not go into detail by monopolizing the first two places in GTE Am ahead of another 911 RSR, the No. 77 from Dempsey-Proton Racing. The #488 Ferrari 83 GTE of Collard-Perrodo-Nielsen is sixth in class.

The second session of the day will begin at 17 p.m. and end at 21 p.m.
