Never two without three. After two sessions in a row won by LM P2s, in this case Prema then WRT, it was another Oreca 07-Gibson which set the best time overall in the final session of this testing weekend at Sebring. WhileAlpine held first place, Filipe Albuquerque appeared shortly before the last half hour of running to offer the best mark to the No. 22 United Autosports USA which he shares with Phil Hanson and Will Owen. The Portuguese completed his lap in 1:48.439. The last session of this weekend ended prematurely eight minutes from the end following a red flag caused by the immobilization of the same car, then driven by Phil Hanson.

Alpine ends the Prologue of WEC on a good note. After dominating the two weekend sessions in the Hypercar category, the French team did the same this Sunday afternoon. Andre Negro, Nicolas lapierre and Matthieu Vaxiviere finished the day with a time of 1:48.617. The trio was ahead of another LM P2, the No. 31 WRT (Sean Gelael, René Rast, , definitely in very good shape during these two days, who completed the podium overall.

In Hypercar, Glickenhaus Racing (Ryan Briscoe, Romain Dumas, Olivier Pla) took second place in the category and fourth overall in 1:49.588, a hair ahead of the Toyota n ° 8 of Sébastien Buemi, Brendo Hartley and Ryo Hirakawa (1:49.595).

Corvette takes the best in GTE Pro

In GGTE Pro, Porsche gave up the last session of the weekend to Corvette as the No. 8 C64.R of Tommy Milner and Nick Tandy took first place in 1:56.476. A minimal gap ahead of the #91 Porsche of Gianmaria Bruni and Richard Lietz (1:56.507) and the #92 of Kévin Estre and Michael Christensen (1:56.751). THE Ferrari did not finish once on the podium during this weekend.

Porsche confirmed its dominance in GTE Am with Dempsey – Proton Competition, as the #77 (Christian Ried, Sebastian Priaulx, Harry Tincknell, Memo Gidley) set the best time in the category for the second session in a row (1:57.787 ), in front of a second car from the German manufacturer, the No. 46 of Team Project 1 (Matteo Cairoli, Mikkel Pedersen, Nicolas Leutwiller).
