Prost motivated like no other

Nicolas, what are your feelings two days before 24 Hours of Le Mans ?
I am rather calm. I have worked a lot physically in recent weeks and I am convinced that, in that regard, everything will be fine. Le Mans is a special race, very long and very demanding, in which it is almost impossible to manage all the parameters. My objective will be to be ultra concentrated from start to finish, to follow the set schedule
by the team and not to make the slightest mistake. We can only be humbled by the legend of Le Mans.

Is your experience from 2007, in LMGT1, useful?
I think so. I'm driving a completely different car this year, of course, but I know the circuit and some of its pitfalls. Le Mans is not just a personal adventure. It's a wonderful human story, and I'm happy to be able to share it with Speedy Racing Team Sebah. The team is very professional and experienced. My teammates, for their part, are fast and don't play their personal cards. With Neel Jani and Andrea Bellicchi, we form a great trio in which no one pulls the cover for themselves.

How did the first runs go?
It was almost impossible to drive on Wednesday evening due to the weather conditions. I then did three laps in slow motion, just to get a first feeling. That said, it was raining so much that the exercise was almost useless. We made up for lost time tonight. Our 10th qualifying time today boosted everyone's morale.

At what level of performance do you think you can perform this weekend?
One thing is certain: the level will be very high and cars equipped with diesel engines will be very difficult to beat. We must also not forget the Pescarolo, the Oreca which will also be very competitive. We will therefore focus on our race, and we will see where we are in the last hours of the race.

What are your goals for your second participation?
We want to finish in first place in the petrol engines, but we are aware that it will be very difficult. The level of performance is very high. Consistency and reliability will make the difference. If motivation could make the difference, then we would be far ahead of everyone!
