Quesnel: “Need a captain”

Olivier Quesnel has the crews under his direction Peugeot who will do everything to bring the 908s to the finish line at the highest level of the ranking. These crews, trained to offer pilots the best possible homogeneity, must however meet other criteria necessary for the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

“It is important that their personalities complement each other so that there is the best possible relationship (within the crew)”, confirms Olivier Quesnel on lemanslive.com “But above that, you need a captain in every car, someone who is ready to make the necessary decisions and who can motivate anyone. Usually we don?t need to name it because it stands out naturally. »

The director of Peugeot Sport also recalls that the set-up remains an important factor for crew training. “Their set-up preferences should be similar because all three can improve behavior and performance. These set-ups vary from one 908 to another. Despite what many people think, looks don't really come into play. After all, each driver has his own seat. »
