Ragues will still defend Signatech at 24H. from the Mans

Pierre Ragues will be part of the Signatech LMP2 team, in the #36 car confirmed at the press conference in Paris. These will be the seventh 24 Hours of Le Mans for the French pilot but this year promises to be special since the event will celebrate its 90th anniversary. A nod too, since he will drive the No. 36 car, the same number worn by the car with which he participated in his first Le Mans in 2006. Pierre Ragues has a long relationship with Signatech, dating back to 2009. he team celebrated a strong fourth place finish at Le Mans last year after being a serious contender for a podium place. The Frenchman had obtained a nice podium in LMP2 during the 2008 edition, so he is no stranger to success in Sarthe.

“I am very happy to take part in my seventh 24 Hours of Le Mans this year, especially as it is the 90th anniversary of this legendary event”, comments Pierre Ragues. “It has always played an important role in my racing career, even since my first participation in 2006. It will be very emotional again this year, in the No. 36 Signatech car, whose entry was confirmed during the conference press conference in Paris, the same number I raced with in 2006. I remember every moment during those years, but of course, finishing on the podium in 2008 was special and I am proud of our performance and to have finishing so close to the podium last year.
