Rebellion Racing partners with TVR

Present at 24 Hours of Le Mans from 2003 to 2005 in GT2 with the T400R, TVR put a foot back in Endurance. Not with a car of its own design, but via a partnership with Rebellion Racing, which is returning this year to LM P1 with R13s designed by Oreca.

As a reminder, after five years of inactivity, the small British manufacturer founded in 1974 presented a new model last September, the Griffith, whose mission is to relaunch the brand. “ Endurance is a key part of TVR’s DNA and our role as lead automotive partner provides us with an excellent opportunity to return to motorsport for the first time in 12 years, underlines Les Edgar, the president of TVR. It also allows TVR to work with a competitive racing team, and apply these learnings to the development and production of not only TVR road cars, but also our future race cars. »

The first appearance of the Rebellion R13, which carried out its debugging at the start of the week, is therefore scheduled for tomorrow, during the Prologue of the WEC, on the Paul-Ricard circuit. Only one copy will be present for the occasion.
