Rebellion recruits Bleekemolen and Smith

It is with undisguised ambition that Rebellion Racing is preparing to begin the 2011 season.Endurance.

Like last year, the Swiss Neel Jani and the French Nicolas Cheers will crack down at the wheel of the No. 12. They will be joined at 24 Hours of Le Mans by the Dutchman Jeroen Bleekemolen. Bleekemolen-Prost-Jani is also the trio requisitioned by the Swiss team to drive the only Lola-Toyota entered in the 12 Hours of Sebring.

“I am delighted to join Rebellion Racing and collaborate with a professional team like this, says the winner of the 24 2008 Hours of Le Mans in LMP2. The cooperation with Toyota is a big plus. The competition against the factory teams will be tough, but the team has already proven to be one of the best private teams. »

The Habs Jean-Christophe Boullion and the Italian Andrea Belicchi will take turns in the No. 13 seat. In Sarthe, Briton Guy Smith, winner of the 24 2003 Hours of Le Mans with Bentley, will come to lend them a helping hand.
