Last minute change on theAston Martin Vantage n°97 for 8 Bahrain Times, final of the 2019-2020 season of World ChampionshipEndurance WEC, contested this weekend.
On the winning car of the last 24 Hours of Le Mans, Alex Lynn tested positive for Covid-19 and will therefore not be able to hold his place alongside Belgian Maxime Martin. Aston Martin Racing has therefore decided to bring back Richard Westbrook, seen at Le Mans on the No. 95 with the Danish Train Marco Sorensen and Nicki Thiim, to replace Lynn.
Remember that the Sorensen – Thiim duo leads the championship ahead of Maxime Martin, who will be the only driver in the No. 97 who can now aim for the GTE Pro title.
Expected at the start in the No. 98 in GTE Am, Richard Westbrook will be replaced by Pedro Lamy who will support Paul Dalla Lana and Ross Gunn.
