Robin Frijns: “The title is definitely our goal”

Winner of 24 Hours of Le Mans at the end of a final round where “he was heartbroken for the guys.” of sister car number 41, Robin Frijns now hopes to secure victory in the LM P2 standings of the World Championship, where WRT is only one point behind Jota with two rounds remaining in the season. Two races which will take place on the Sakhir circuit, in Bahrain.  “I know Bahrain quite well, I did the GP2 there and a road test. Formula 1 (with Caterham in 2014. Editor’s note), so I know what wait for me, believes the Dutch pilot. If Everything is going well, I think we will have a very good chance of getting the title. It would be incredible for the team to participate for the first time in the WEC and then win the LMP2 world champion title. That’s definitely our goal. » The next round of the championship will take place on Saturday October 30 in Bahrain at 6 hours, before the 8 hours the following weekend on the same circuit.
