The victorious team 24 Hours of Le Mans and reigning LM P2 champion has announced its first two drivers for the 2022 campaign of WEC. Team WRT will line up Sean Gelael and Rui Andrade. The Indonesian arrives from Jota where he played his first full season in the world championship ofEndurance in 2021 with second places during the Le Mans classic and in the championship, behind the team he is joining this year. “ I'm super excited to join WRT, enthuses the 25-year-old pilot, with all their history and after such an incredible debut in motorsport where they swept everything! I hope I can contribute this season to winning the title again, that's also my goal, after being so close against Team WRT last year... Rui Andrade will discover the WEC this season with Team WRT in the No. 41, after a year in Asian (third in Abu Dhabi) and in the European Le Mans Series (third in Austria) with G-Drive Racing. “I am extremely happy to join Team WRT for the entire 2022 FIA WEC season, rejoices Andrade.
