Signing with an Aston Martin in 2010

Signature-Plus is the first team to race a Lola Aston Martin official in 2010, can reveal AUTO to youhebdo. For several weeks, uncertainty has reigned regarding the destination of the three Lola Aston Martin LMP1s, with the British manufacturer focusing its efforts on the 2011 endurance season. In 2010, we will therefore see at least one of these three cars, since Signature-Plus will ensure its operation for 24 Hours of Le Mans and in the Le Mans Series.

This is a great success for the French team, which will benefit from a car that has distinguished itself more than once this season. Fighting with the Pescarolo and Oreca prototypes, Aston Martin won the Le Mans Series and placed a car in fourth place at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, in the unofficial rank of “first gasoline”. No certainty at present concerning the names of the drivers who will be at the wheel of the Aston Martin Signature, but the 2009 drivers of the French team, Pierre Ragues and Franck Mailleux, will have priority.
