Six races on the 2021 WEC menu

At the end of a press conference organized in Spa, Jean Todt and Pierre Fillon made official the fact that there would only be six races on the program for the next campaign.

Jean Todt arrived yesterday at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, where he came to watch the resumption of the WEC after several months of interruption. Various subjects were discussed, including the future of the World Championship ofEndurance in view of the current economic and health crises.

On this occasion, the President of the FIA – accompanied by the President of the ACO Pierre Fillon – made official the fact that there would only be six races on the program for the 2021 WEC season.

As a reminder, the upcoming campaign is supposed to begin in Sebring, in mid-March, with the hope that by then, traveling to the four corners of the world will be less complicated than currently, due to the coronavirus pandemic.
