Spa H+5: Isaakyan crash on the #1 SMP Racing BR17

The 6 Hours of Spa was interrupted one hour from the finish following Matevos Isaakyan's exit from the track in the #1 SMP Racing BR17.

Spa H+5: Isaakyan crash on BR1 n°17 of SMP Racing

Just over an hour before the finish of the 6 Hours of Spa, Matevos Isaakyan went off the track in the Raidillon at the wheel of the #1 SMP Racing BR17 which was in fourth place. The Russian was able to escape from the LMP1, but the damage was significant. The race is neutralized with the entry of the safety car onto the track.

Toyota Gazoo Racing masters its subject with the TS050 Hybrid n°8 of Fernando Alonso in the lead with a minute ahead of the sister car led by Mike conway. Thomas Laurent moved up to third place in the No. 13 Rebellion R3.

In LMP2, the #07 G-Drive Racing Oreca 26 of Jean-Éric Vergne is in the lead. Porsche leads the GTE Pro with the 911 RSR of Gianmaria Bruni. Mathias Lauda leads GTE Am on theAston Martin Vantage #98.
