Strakka is back on the attack!

After a year 2010 rich in success, culminating in a resounding category victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and an overall success at the Budapest 1000 Km, Strakka Racing returns for a second consecutive season in LMP2 with HPD (Honda Performance Development).

For the Silverstone-based team, the objective is clearly stated: to do at least as well as last year despite the new regulations and the very tough field that lies ahead.

“We try not to be too interested in what the competition is doing, to concentrate on our work and do it as best as we can, assures boss-pilot Nick Leventis. However, the LMP2 category promises to be very tight this year for Le Mans, and the return of Nissan (with the Signatech Nissan team, editor's note) is a very good thing.

From a technical point of view, with the new regulations, the team is moving from the HPD V8 to the new Biturbo V6 based on a Honda production engine. Finally, for the drivers, Nick Leventis, Johnny Kane and Danny Watts will once again share the wheel of the new ARX-01d.
