Here we are, the 2024 World Championship campaignEndurance will start soon! Kicking off the most anticipated and exciting season in the history of the WEC, with 19 Hypercars and 18 LMGT3s on the entry list, will be given during the 1812 kilometers of Qatar (February 29 – March 2). Before that, the traditional Prologue WEC 2024 will be organized a few days before the race, that is to say this Monday and Tuesday (February 26-27), also at the Losail circuit in Qatar. Note that the Prologue has been postponed by two days, due to a delay in sea freight due to the current situation in the Red Sea.

New to the calendar, the Losail International Circuit constitutes a unique challenge for the entire field. Inaugurated in 2004, the 5,419 km route offers rhythmic sequences with sixteen medium and high speed turns coupled with one of the longest straights of the season (1068 meters).

The 37 crews in the 2024 field will have two days to fine-tune their settings, adapt to the conditions and the circuit ahead of the opening round in Qatar. Four sessions are planned over the two days. Unfortunately, the 2024 WEC Prologue will not be broadcast live. You will nevertheless be able to follow all the information, times and results on AUTOhebdo.
