Toyota dominates the warm-up of the 24 Hours of Le Mans

The traditional warm-up of 24 Hours of Le Mans a été dominé ce samedi matin par la Toyota TS050 Hybrid n°7 de José Maria Lopez, Mike conway et Kamui Kobayashi.

The LM P1, which will start from pole position later at 15 p.m., completed a benchmark time of 3'19"647, with Kobayashi at the wheel, and is one second ahead of the No. 8 sister car of Sébastien Buemi - Fernando Alonso - Kazuki Nakajima.

The first LM P1 remains the R13 n°3 – Rebellion Racing of Menezes – Laurent – ​​Berthon. Followed by the two BR1 – SMP Racing, the n°17 ​​of Sarrazin – Orudzhev – Sirotkin in front of the n°11 of Vandoorne – Aleshin – Petrov.

The BR1 n°10 – DragonSpeed ​​of Hanley – Hedman – van der Zande, the second R13 n°1 – Rebellion Racing of Senna – Lotterer – Jani and the CLM P1/01 n°4 – By Kolles of Dillmann – Ruberti – Webb, who went straight at the Dunlop chicane in the last minute, completes the LM P1 ranking.

Thanks to Jean-Eric Vergne, and despite returning to the pit lane with a stroller during the session, the No. 01 Aurus 26 – G-Drive Racing dominates the LM P2 category in 3’28”793. The Frenchman, associated with Job van Uitert and Roman Rusinov, is 1″4 ahead of Oreca 07 n°28 – TDS Racing de Perrodo – Vaxivière – Duval, the latter starting from pole for the race.

The top three sees theAlpine A470 n°36 – Signatech Alpine de negrao - Stone – Thiriet place himself at 2″3.

Kevin Estre s’est montré le plus rapide en GTE Pro, avec la Porsche 911 RSR n°92, le vainqueur de la dernière édition des 24 Heures du Mans dans la catégorie ayant évolué en 3’50″095. La Ford GT n°67 de Tincknell – Priaulx – Bomarito et la Ferrari 488 n°71 – AF Corse de Bird – Rigon – Molina enters the top 3 at 1″0 and 1″1.

Two Porsche 911 RSRs, the No. 86 – Gulf Racing of Wainwright – Barker – Preining and the No. 56 – Team Project1 of Bergmeister – Lindsay – Perfetti took the lead in the GTE Am category.

A Full Course Yellow was deployed just under 10′ from the checkered flag, to remove debris at the Porsche corners.
