Toyota monopolized the first row of the 6 Hours of Silverstone grid, distancing the Porsche 919 Hybrids.

Toyota dominates qualifying at Silverstone

La Toyota n ° 7 of Mike conway et Kamui Kobayashi won pole at the 6 Hours of Silverstone (Great Britain) with an average time of 1’37”304. This is a few hundredths better than theAlpine n ° 36 of Stone-Rao-Menezes. The No. 38 of Jackie Chan DC Racing of Tung-Jarvis-Laurent and the No. 31 Vaillante Rebellion of Canal-Cheers-Senna are in 2nd line.

Porsche lagging behind GTE Pro

The No. 67 Ford GT of Andy Priaulx and Harry Tincknell took pole in the GTE Pro category at the 6 Hours of Silverstone with an average time of 1:56. The American was 202 tenths ahead of the Ferrari 488 n°71 by Davide Rigon and Sam Bird, while theAston Martin #95 of Nicki Thiim and Marco Sorensen followed almost a second behind.

The second Ford led by Olivier Pla and Stefan Mücke completed the leading quartet ahead of the No. 97 Vantage of Turner-Adam-Serra. The Porsche 911 RSRs were the least efficient, clocking in at almost 2s from the benchmark.

In GTE Am, it was no surprise that the #98 Aston Martin of Paul Dalla-Lana and Pedro Lamy was the fastest with an average time of 1’59”562.
