Toyota dominates mid-race in Bahrain

Night fell on the Sakhir route and Toyota dominates the 6 hours of Bahrain, not without having lost a lot of time en route with its main weapon, the no. 8 of the duo Sébastien Buemi ? Anthony Davidson, victim of an alternator problem during the second hour, and who went through the garage twice.

Mike conway regained control of the race at the wheel of the sister car and is currently dominating with 52 seconds ahead of the Porsche 919 Hybrid n°20 by Timo Bernhard. The second 919 Hybrid placed third, Marc Lieb having got the better of the No. 18 Audi R2 e-tron quattro of André Lotterer. Rebellion logically dominates the LM P1-L, after the abandonment at the very start of the race of the CLM P1/01, cut short by a gearbox problem, as announced by the FIAWEC Twitter account.

In LM P2, the KCMG Racing Oreca O3R driven by Richard Bradley is at the forefront in the category ahead of another Oreca 03R, the No. 27 from SMP Racing which had dominated the start of the race.

The GTE Pro category sees the No. 919 Porsche 91 RSR leading just before its pit stop, while it isAston Martin Vantage #95 driven by Kristian Poulsen who retains the lead in GTE Am.
