After the night session, the Japanese manufacturer still blithely dominates the WEC Prologue.

Toyota keeps control in the Prologue

The night session, in which not all competitors participated, ended at 9 a.m. this morning. Toyota is still well ahead of the Prologue of the WEC, the n°8 having completed a lap in 1’32”662. No. 7, which follows at 1”9 and which was commissioned to carry out the simulation ofEndurance, completed more than 630 laps. It is therefore the second most frequent car on the track after theAston Martin Vantage AMR #95, credited with over 650 laps.

The BR1-AER n°11 of SMP Racing and the Rebellion R13 are relegated to 4"3, while the leading fifth is completed by the second BR1, which is ahead of the Enso CLM P1/01 of ByKolles Racing (+5"1 ), the DragonSpeed ​​BR1-Gibson (+5”6) and the two Ginetta G60-LT-P1s, at 5”9 and 7”2 from the reference.

The DragonSpeed ​​Oreca 07 remains at the top of the LM P2 thanks to a time of 1'40"771 and precedes the 07 from TDS Racing, theAlpine Signatech A470 Alpine and the Dallara P217 of Team Racing Nederland.

In GTLM, the Porsche #91 by Bruni-Lietz is at the top of the hierarchy ahead of the sister car and the two Ford GTs. The Aston Martin and the two BMW M8 GTEs are 2”0 behind the best 911 RSR.

Finally, right in the middle of the GTE Pro peloton, we find the Gulf Racing UK Porsche 911 RSR, the fastest of the GTE Am clan.

The Prologue will end today at 16 p.m., at the end of a day open – and free – to the public.
