Toyota passes midnight in the lead at Le Mans

Toyota poursuit sa route en tête des 24 Hours of Le Mans, with the TS050 Hybrid n°7 of Mike conway, dominatrix for 8″ facing sister car n°8 of Sébastien Buemi. The Toyota tandem observes its stops with very little difference, and continues the laps like a metronome.

SMP Racing is still following with its two BR1s n°17 and n°11 of Sarrazin and Petrov at the moment, the two non-hybrid LM P1s clocking in at 1 and 2 laps.

The G-Drive Racing – Signatech duo Alpine still leads the LM P2 category, Job van Uitert leading the category peloton with the Aurus 01 n°26 and with an 11″ lead over Nicolas lapierre (Alpine No. 36). Jackie Chan DC Racing remains at a respectable distance (nearly 2′) with the #07 Oreca 38 of Stéphane Richelmi.

Calado dynamites the GTE Pro

Calado is 1’06” behind Christensen and 12” ahead of Jan’s #63 Corvette Magnussen. Jonathan Bomarito allows Ford to stay in the top 5 just ahead of the No. 93 Porsche of Patrick Pilet.

Keating Motorsports and the No. 85 Ford GT remain leader in GTE Pro.
