Tréluyer, unconditional Le Mans

Benoît, you earn a lot in Japan. Do you come to Le Mans with the same thirst for victory?
As long as we are on a good car, we can have hope of good results. In Japan, I am in the best team in Formula Nippon, in the best team in GT. There, I am in a top team, I hope to be able to continue the momentum of my good results.

Le Mans, is this a race to which you are attached?

I am very attached because I lived there for seven years, I was born in Alençon which is not far away. And then, riding for Henri is something. So I do everything, everything, everything to be able to do Le Mans. For example, last year, I had a Formula Nippon race scheduled for the same weekend. I went to the pilots association in Japan to change the date and I was satisfied. We do not have the right to hold a national race on the same day as the 24 Hours, it?s just impossible.

Do you have hopes of good results?
The goal is above all to finish the race, without worries. Afterwards, we'll see where we are. The Magny-Cours tests were running-in. The second day, I was able to attack a little more. The times looked reasonable. So, for now, everything is fine.
