A Tandy-Jarvis-Cullen trio for G-Drive by Algarve at Le Mans

Roman Rusinov, Jean-Eric Vergne and Mikkel Jensen will not be the only ones to defend the G-Drive Racing banner on September 19 and 20 at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

G-Drive, in association with Algarve Pro Racing, will line up an Oreca 07 for a trio to watch since the official driver Porsche Nick Tandy will be supported by Oliver Jarvis, mainly engaged in IMSA with Mazda, and Ryan Cullen, for a sixtieth crew engaged.

The latter, passed by Algarve Pro Racing in 2018 in ELMS, knows the LM P2 category well from competing with different teams for several seasons, and notably won the 24 2019 Hours of Daytona in LM P2 with DragonSpeed, his current ELMS formation.

Algarve Pro Racing will therefore operate two cars in Sarthe, since Simon Trummer, John Falb and Matt McMurry will also compete under the banner of the Portuguese structure in LM P2. “Having two cars on the grid for the 24 Hours of Le Mans is really exciting for Algarve Pro Racing, underlines Team Principal Stewart Cox.

We have to say a big thank you to G-Drive Racing for giving us the opportunity to make this happen, and I'm delighted with how the program has been put together. We have been working on this since we won the 2019-2020 Asian Le Mans Series title and the work has paid off.

We have a great car and a world-class crew with Ryan, Oliver and Nick. »
