An official Pescarolo in WEC, 2 at Le Mans

In 2011, Henri Pescarolo's team did not miss its return to competition. Brilliant in the “Petrol category” at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, it was above all allowed to win a third Drivers' crown in the Le Mans Series thanks to the duo Julien Jousse-Emmanuel Collard, with whom we can associate Christophe Tinseau. Victorious at the 6 Hours of Castellet and the 6 Hours of Estoril and best LMS competitor at the 6 Hours of Spa, the Sarthe team can be proud of its performances.

But like every winter, finances cast doubt on the presence in 2012 of the structure of the four-time winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Finally, Henri confirmed to us that he had submitted a registration request for the World Championship.Endurance, and two for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Commitments which will be made with its own cars, namely its Pescarolos brought into compliance with the regulations in force, and powered by a Judd V8. If everything goes as Henri wishes, we should therefore see the French team return to Sebring 11 years after its last appearance on the Florida track in 2001.
