A Porsche 917K approved for the road

Claudio Roddaro undoubtedly has a very special copy of a Porsche 917K. The Monegasque resident, owner of one of the most legendary racing cars in motorsport, was able to make his copy approved for the road.

Its 917-037, purchased in 2016, was able to receive the precious sesame following two historic precedents. Two other chassis, n°021 and especially n°030, having belonged to the count Red, which initiated the partnership between Martini and Porsche, had already been approved.

The car based on chassis 037, whose construction was completed in 2004 at the instigation of an American collector (with a presentation at the Rennsport Reunion in Daytona) has been authenticated by Porsche, allowing the final procedures for road approval .
