From August 30 to September 1, 30 cars will compete on the Silverstone circuit in England. Among the entrants, we will count in LM P1 the two Toyota number 7 and 8, the first boarding Mike conway, Jose Maria Lopez et Kamui Kobayashi, and the other as usual Kazuki Nakajima et Sébastien Buemi and Brendon Hartley replacing Fernando Alonso. The Toyotas will be accompanied bya single Rebellion, whose crew has still not been revealed.
The LMP2 category will be just as full, since it welcomes three ex pilots of F1 : Paul di Resta for United Autosports in the Oreca 07 Gibson, Will Stevens at the wheel of the number 37 of the Jackie Chan DC Racing team and finally Anthony Davidson in the number 38 of JOTA Sport.
The category is also a little shaken up in terms of drivers, Nyck de Vries being replaced by Job van Uitert at the wheel of the number 29 of Racing Team Nederland, alongside Frits van Eerd and Giedo van der Garde. On the manufacturer side, three new teams will appear: High Class Racing, Cool Racing and Cetilar Racing.
