After having elected your best drivers of the 2024 Endurance season, AUTOhebdo invited you to vote for your favorite race of the last World ChampionshipEndurance to date.
Eight races were on the programme for this year: the 1812 km of Qatar (March 2), the 6 Hours of Imola (April 21), the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps (May 11), the 24 Hours of Le Mans (June 15 and 16), the 6 Hours of São Paulo (July 14), Lone Star Le Mans (September 1), the 6 Hours of Fuji (September 15) and the 8 Hours of Bahrain (November 2).
Without any real surprise, you elected the 24 Hours of Le Mans as the best race of the season with an overwhelming majority of votes. The double round-the-clock race in Sarthe presented a field of unprecedented intensity and the race was a gripping spectacle in difficult weather conditions. The suspense was present until its conclusion with the Ferrari #50 with a door problem and having to resist the return of the Toyota No. 7. The Italian manufacturer finally retained its title thanks to its trio formed by Nicklas Nielsen, Antonio Fuoco and Miguel Molina.
Apart from the iconic round of the calendar, your highlight of the season was the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps. Once again, the spectacle was total in Belgium, notably with the farandole of overtaking moves by Julien Andlauer in the Raidillon. The event was made historic by a unique decision: that of extending the timer by 1h44 after a flag following the spectacular accident between Earl Bamber (Cadillac) and Sean Gelael (BMW). Almost two hours of extension offering the first of the Hertz Team JOTA team on a general classification with the duo Will Stevens and Callum Ilott.
Third on your podium of the best races of the 2024 Endurance World Championship season: the 6 Hours of Fuji. The Japanese round was also a fierce and intense battle from start to finish, with twists and turns and crashes galore, with a decisive victory for the Porsche No. 6 of André Lotterer, Laurens Vanthoor and Kévin Estre in the quest for the Drivers' title, but also BMW's first podium in Hypercar through Raffaele Marciello, Dries Vanthoor and Marco Wittmann, as well as the presence ofAlpine on the same podium with Mick Schumacher, Nicolas lapierre and Matthieu Vaxiviere.

Honestly, a race where we had the whole night under the safety car? A 24-hour race at a discount for me in 2024, and I'm a big fan of Le Mans, but here we had everything except what makes Le Mans
