WEC – The rain comes to the party in Monza

Perturbée par la pluie, la séance d’essai nocturne du prologue a permis à la Porsche 919 Hybrid n°1 de retrouver le sommet de la feuille des temps grâce à un tour du circuit de Monza bouclé en 1’31 »666. Le meilleur chrono de cette première journée est donc toujours à mettre au crédit de Mike conway (Toyota TS050 Hybrid n°7), auteur d’un 1’31 »332 cet après-midi.

The evening's top three is completed by the No. 919 Porsche 2 Hybrid (+0 »157) and the No. 050 Toyota TS8 Hybrid (+0 »304), which is ahead of its sister car.

The best time in LM P2 goes to the Vaillante Rebellion team, whose No. 13 of Beche-Heinemeier Hansson recorded a lap in 1'41"467. The Oreca 07 from the Swiss team is ahead of both Alpine A470, that of Dumas-Menezes-Rao having been faster than that of Ragues-negrao-Panciatici.

The two Porsche 911 RSRs dominated the competition in GTE, taking the first two places, the No. 92 of the Christensen-Estre pair having completed a lap in 1'58"247. The No. 66 Ford of Pla-Mücke follows in third place ahead ofAston Martin n ° 95.

In GTE Am, only the #911 Porsche 86 RSR took to the track. The weather having taken its toll, the competitors did not want to take any risks. Only 13 cars were credited with a time during this night session. Note that the No. 1 CLM P01/4 of the ByKolles Racing Team finally left its box, completing three laps.
